How I Built The 9 Picks Affiliate Store with Tekmatix

A small, curated Amazon UK storefront gave me a practical way to use Tekmatix for more than a standard landing page.

I wanted a compact affiliate store that people could browse quickly: nine useful products, a few simple categories and direct links to the relevant Amazon UK listings. The result is The 9 Picks, a FreshStore style storefront that I created as a page in Tekmatix. It is my own curated page, rather than a store running on FreshStore software.

Why I chose a small collection

A broad catalogue can be difficult to maintain and overwhelming to browse. I kept this first version to nine picks across home, tech and everyday essentials. The current collection includes an air fryer, water filters, storage bags, a streaming stick, a wireless mouse, a games console bundle, markers, baby wipes and glue.

These are suggestions for shoppers to investigate, not claims that I have personally tested every item or that the list is a live bestseller ranking. Prices, availability and exact specifications belong on the Amazon listing.

How I put the page together in Tekmatix

  1. Planned the structure. I chose nine products and grouped them into Home, Tech and Everyday so visitors could narrow the list without navigating multiple pages.
  2. Built the storefront page. I used custom HTML on a Tekmatix hosted page for the product cards, category controls, search and responsive layout. Tekmatix provided the publishing environment and page settings; this particular design used custom code rather than only drag and drop blocks.
  3. Added the product links. Each card sends visitors to its Amazon UK listing using my tagged affiliate link. The page does not take orders or payments itself.
  4. Added clear disclosures. I placed the Amazon Associate disclosure near the top, noted that the images are illustrations and explained that checkout, delivery and returns are handled by Amazon or the seller.
  5. Connected and checked the page. I published it at the9picks.spdigitalconsultants.co.uk, then checked the product links, mobile layout and page title, description and sharing image.

Tekmatix also has visual website and funnel builders, custom domains and page metadata settings. For this project, the flexibility to publish my own compact HTML storefront on a branded subdomain was the useful part. You can read my broader Tekmatix review for its CRM, email, automation, pricing and drawbacks.

What visitors see on The 9 Picks

The live page opens with the collection and a short explanation. Visitors can browse all nine items, filter by category or search the cards, then choose “View on Amazon UK” for a product that interests them. It keeps the buying decision on the retailer listing, where current price and delivery details can be checked.

What I would keep in mind for another affiliate store

Start with a focused theme, write a useful reason for each inclusion, and make affiliate links unmistakable. Review the listings periodically: an item can change price, go out of stock or point to a different variation. A small curated site still needs ongoing checks, useful content and promotion; publishing a page alone does not guarantee search traffic or commissions.

If you want automatic product imports, live prices or a large catalogue, a dedicated affiliate store system may be more appropriate. The 9 Picks is deliberately a simple, manually curated Tekmatix page.

Could you build something similar with Tekmatix?

Yes, if you are comfortable building a page and managing the affiliate content yourself. Tekmatix gave me a home for the design, domain and page settings, while I supplied the selection, copy, images and links. My full Tekmatix review covers the wider platform and the learning curve before you commit.
